The Truth about Independence You Never Knew

Updated: Mar 6

Where did the idea of FREEDOM come from?

Why is it so important? Why did our ancestors fight until their deaths to achieve this dream?

Stories of individuals and nations who battled for this elusive quality and paid the ultimate price to have this, demonstrate how valuable freedom is to human existence. Millions have lost their lives in battles, revolts, and rebellions in pursuing it.

Today, the Philippines is commemorating its 125th Independence Day. We are forever grateful to the people and heroes who sacrificed their lives to pursue freedom for our country. The oppression, suppression, and all other forms of slavery brought by colonialism awakened the sleeping giant inside the hearts of the Filipino people before and during the war.

Our ancestors were uneducated but, they understood that forced labor, political regime, economic suppression, and even spiritual oppression were sins against their existence.

Who gave them the burden that being free was the most valuable thing somebody could have, that it was the greatest gift they could give to their country?

God, Himself is the author of freedom.

This is His primary and ultimate goal for people. The first instruction God gave to man was to oversee the property known as Earth. Man was provided with the contract for earth management. And INDEPENDENCE is inherent in that dominion mandate.

He made it possible for the Filipino people to understand that they cannot be enslaved by other nations' governments. He wants the Philippines to have our government, a government that is dependent on Him. Freedom, then, is a return to the stewardship duty.

Our heroes did a good job! They have done their part. They have served their purpose in their generation. Now, it is our turn.

IT IS OUR TURN TO FIGHT FOR FREEDOM!

IT IS OUR TURN TO SERVE THIS COUNTRY.

You cannot serve unless you are free. You cannot truly be free unless you possess the ability to self-management and management of your environment.

The source and foundation of true freedom ... and also the source of the very meaning of the word-free-dominion ... freedom. True freedom is "the liberty to dominate the earth through one's unique gifts and talents in fulfillment of God's purpose for one."

Munroe, M. (2001). Burden of Freedom

The principle is, God created each person to rule his environment through his or her unique skills and abilities, with the main goal of using those gifts to serve his purpose to humanity.

True freedom, therefore, is the self-discovery of one's personal purpose and the ability to work toward fulfilling it while complying with the laws and principles established by God without preventing other individuals from doing the same.

Set yourself FREE from depression, fear, and self-doubt!

You have a book inside you.

You have a song inside your heart.

You have the invention this world needs.

You are the answer to this generation's dilemma.
