What God Had in Mind When He Made You: His Top Priority in Creating Mankind

Have you ever stopped to ask: What was in God’s heart when He created mankind?

What was His motivation when He shaped your eyes, your nose, your hands — and gave you breath?

Are there are days when life feels stuck? You’re showing up, doing the work, checking the boxes.

You go to church. You love your family. You hang out with friends…

But inside? You feel numb. Disconnected. Unsure.

I’ve been there. And if you’re reading this — maybe you’re there right now.

Sometimes, we mistake motion for meaning. We move, but we’re not going anywhere. We perform, but we’re not aligned. And when life starts to feel heavy or hollow,It’s usually a sign to return to your Source. To pause and ask: Am I still walking in the reason why God created me?

You were made for more — and heaven had a reason.

Look around you:The flowers, the birds, the mountains and trees. Even your laptop, washing machine, and the phone in your hand. Everything — whether man-made or God-created — exists because it has a purpose.

So what about you?

God’s top priority in creating you is that you do His will on earth.

Jesus said it plainly:

“My food is to do the will of Him who sent Me and to finish His work.”(John 4:34)

He compares doing the Father’s will to eating food. Just like your body can’t survive without food, your spirit can’t survive without God’s purpose. He means that there is more to life than physical satisfaction.

Purpose Is Obedience, Not Performance

I used to think living in purpose meant doing something big —Speaking to crowds. Leading movements. Building platforms.

But that’s not always how God sees it.

After 15 years of searching for meaning, I’ve learned this: True purpose starts with obedience.

🌿 Obedience to the whisper of the Holy Spirit.

🌿 Obedience to say yes when no one else will.

🌿 Obedience to stay hidden when your ego wants to be seen.

Purpose isn’t always loud. Sometimes, it’s quiet trust in the season you’re in.

Maybe your purpose is inspiring others through song or art. Maybe it’s encouraging your students or taking care of the sick.

Ask yourself:

  • What do I joyfully give?

  • What comes easy for me but feels hard for others?

That’s where your gift lies. And purpose?

Purpose means serving your gift. It doesn’t always require a change of job, school, or role. It simply requires you to give what’s abundant inside you — where you are, as you are.

Stay Connected to the One Who Created You

When you lose your connection to God’s voice, it’s easy to drift — spiritually and emotionally.

That’s when comparison creeps in. That’s when you start settling for a version of life you were never meant to live.

But here’s the truth:

You’re not stuck.

You’re being pruned. Protected. Prepared.

You are still chosen.

Still anointed.

Still called.

So rise up. Refocus. Realign.

📖 Go back to your secret place.

🙏 Return to your quiet time with the Father.

📌 Revisit the vision He gave you when no one was watching.
